Granda Pat’s Chili

Alice Louise O’Brien Merica, nicknamed Pat

¾ cup chopped onion

1 or 2 cloves garlic

1 lb. ground beef

½ teas. salt

1/8 teas. pepper

2 or 3 T. chili powder

1 can kidney beans

1 can tomatoes

1 6oz. can tomato puree

 

Brown meat until tender.  Add onion and garlic and cook until onion is clear.  Add rest of the ingredients.  Simmer for an hour.
