Pete’s Special Biscuit Gravy
o INGREDIENTS
Favorite Biscuit Mix (Bisquick and make according to box instructions or just get the Fridge Aisle biscuits and bake according to directions)
Refrigerated (not frozen) Ground Sausage (I like Sage flavored because you can always add more spice later…)
Black Pepper and other spices to taste
Flour
Milk
o DIRECTIONS
Brown Sausage
Add more spice as you want (definitely black pepper! Maybe some hotter spices… paprika? Crushed red pepper? Etc…)
Drain if a lot of grease in pan
Sprinkle and cover sausage with some flour and stir
Cover with milk and stir until thick and yummy looking
You may need to add a bit more flour and milk throughout process – thicken until desired consistency
Serve over cooked and warmed biscuits with fried eggs and have a great rest of your day!
