Pete’s Special Biscuit Gravy

o   INGREDIENTS

  • Favorite Biscuit Mix (Bisquick and make according to box instructions or just get the Fridge Aisle biscuits and bake according to directions)

  • Refrigerated (not frozen) Ground Sausage (I like Sage flavored because you can always add more spice later…)

  • Black Pepper and other spices to taste

  • Flour

  • Milk

o   DIRECTIONS

  • Brown Sausage

  • Add more spice as you want (definitely black pepper! Maybe some hotter spices… paprika? Crushed red pepper? Etc…)

  • Drain if a lot of grease in pan

  • Sprinkle and cover sausage with some flour and stir

  • Cover with milk and stir until thick and yummy looking

  • You may need to add a bit more flour and milk throughout process – thicken until desired consistency

  • Serve over cooked and warmed biscuits with fried eggs and have a great rest of your day!
