Ann Daniel’s Chicken Casserole

usually voted the family’s favorite chicken casserole . . .

1 box Uncle Ben’s Wild Rice

6 chicken breasts cooked, cut up

1 can cream of celery soup

1 small onion minced

1 2-oz. jar pimentos

2 cups mayonnaise

1 8-oz. can water chestnuts sliced thin

2 16-oz. cans French-style green beans, drained

Parmesan cheese

Paprika

 

Cook rice as directed on the box.  Add all ingredients except paprika and cheese and mix thoroughly.  Pour into greased, shallow 3 qt. baking dish.  Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and paprika.  Bake 35-40 minutes or until bubbly at 350 degrees.  I also make this with left over turkey after Thanksgiving.
