Aunt Peg’s Sugar Cookies

1 cup margarine

2/3 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 teas. salt

1 teas. vanilla

1 teas. almond extract

2 ¾ cup flour

 

cream margarine and sugar;  add eggs, salt, vanilla and almond extract.  Gradually add the flour.  Chill, roll out and cut into shapes.  They may be baked plain and iced when cool, or they may be baked with sugar sprinkled on top first.  Bake 8-10 minutes at 375 degrees.
