Buckeyes
Grandma Stoffan’s Buckeyes
(Violet Alexander Stoffan)
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 ½ stick margarine
1 cup + 2 T. peanut butter
1 12 oz. package chocolate chips
small amount of paraffin
Work first three ingredients into small balls. Dip into melted chocolate/paraffin mixture. Put on wax paper or foil and let set.
Strongly recommend making pretty small balls and refrigerating or freezing for a bit prior to dipping into chocolate. Next time I will also try tempering chocolate without paraffin. Best stored in refrigerator in my opinion. -Alex
