Mom’s Chocolate Sauce
(Sally Bowman—she got the recipe from Barbara Johnson)
2 cups sugar
2/3 cups cocoa
6 T. flour
1 teas. salt
2 cups milk
2 T. butter
2 teas. vanilla
Mix well the sugar, cocoa, flour and salt. Then add the milk. Cook until thick, like pudding, stirring the whole time. Remove from the heat and add the butter and vanilla.
