No Bakes

2 cups sugar

¼ cup cocoa

¼ cup butter or margarine

½ cup milk

2 ½ cups regular uncooked oats

¾ cup crunchy peanut butter

2 teas. vanilla extract

 

Combine sugar, cocoa, butter, and milk in heavy saucepan; stir well.  Cook over medium heat until mixture is boiling for one minute.  Stir in oats, peanut butter and vanilla.  Drop dough by heaping spoonfuls onto lightly greased wax paper or cookie sheet.  Do this quickly or it will dry up.  Cool thoroughly.
