Waffles

Mom’s Sour Cream Waffles

3 eggs, separated

2 ½ cups sour cream

2 cups flour

1 teas. salt

1 teas. baking soda

1 teas. baking powder

1 T. sugar

3 T. melted butter

 

Beat egg whites until stiff; set aside.  Beat egg yolks.  Add dry ingredients and sour cream alternately.  Add butter.  Fold in egg whites.  Ladle into waffle maker and cook according to waffle maker directions.
